Export and veterinary brief
Use Profile → Data & Security to export structured records, or create a per-pet veterinary brief with trend charts, detail tables, and selected attachments. Readable exports exclude precise walk coordinates by default.
Complete backup
Create an encrypted or unencrypted .pethealthbackup. An encrypted backup requires a password that only you keep. An unencrypted backup is easier to inspect but can be read by anyone who obtains it.
Restore
Restore validates the package and its relationships. Free users can restore backups with more than two pets without losing data: up to two remain editable and the rest remain visible and exportable in read-only mode until subscribed.
Delete and recover
Ordinary deletion goes to Recently Deleted and can be restored during its retention period. Permanently deleting a household is a separate high-risk action that removes it from the current library after confirmation.
iCloud and sharing
Sync begins only after subscription and explicit enablement. Sharing management shows members and permissions. Expiring a subscription pauses new cloud operations; it does not claim to remove cloud data or CKShare participation automatically.
Get help
Use the support channel with the App version and a non-private description. Do not post backups, medical records, or precise locations.
